- The Club
Established in 1895, Goring & Streatley Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 71 golf course much of which is laid out over free draining Chalkland. It is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Berkshire with stunning panoramic views of the Thames Valley, the Ridgeway and the River Thames. Much of the course was designed by Harry Colt, who was also responsible for Sunningdale and Wentworth.
Goring and Streatley Golf Club offers a great test of golf over undulating land, amoungst mature woodland and strategically placed bunkers. This varied and yet challenging course requires a level of proficiency to play but never leaves the fun part of the game far from your imagination. The greens at Goring and Streatley are renowned for being fast, true and in all year round great condition. We are a friendly club with an established golf course, a rare cocktail indeed.
We boast great facilities including a restaurant specialising in home-made, locally-sourced produce, four bars and three function rooms. We are a short distance from the M4 and A34 making us an easy venue to find – perfect if you wish to host a society day, business meeting or a Wedding.
We are sure you will enjoy both the golf at Goring and Streatley and the friendly hospitality provided by our in-house events team. We very much look forward to your visit.
