The first question to answer is “why should you join Goring and Streatley Golf Club?"

Recently we surveyed all of our members, and asked their opinions on all aspects of membership. These are some of their comments…

Goring and Streatley is one of the best, friendliest, best kept courses in the area.   -   The best views of any course in the area.  -   Wonderful setting and course layout.  -   Excellent facilities in Clubhouse   -   Best course in the area with staff as a significant asset    -    Unstuffy, superior surroundings   -   course and clubhouse. And finally…

I can count the number of bad experiences I have had at the club in the last 3 years on the fingers of one hand. And those have all been related to my golf!

 

If you include the fact that our members are entitled to 25% discount on all drinks, are eligible for free golf at over 40 other clubs throughout the UK and the membership fees are the most competitively priced in the area, it is no wonder they say such nice things!

 

Goring & Streatley has a wide range of members and offer various membership categories to suit:

  • 7-Day membership - exactly as it says, allows you to play 7 days a week.

  • 5-Day Plus: allows you to play Monday to Friday and in the afternoons at weekends.
  • 5-Day : entitles you to play Monday to Friday
  • Intermediate: For ages 18-29 we have some great deals available, and you receive full playing rights, seven days a week.

  • Goring and Streatley have an active Junior section. We allow "Cadet" golfers to join from the age of 7. Once they turn 13 they become "Junior members". Both Cadets and Juniors may play 7 days a week.
  • Social Membership:
    • Use of our clubhouse facilities and free wi fi
    • Members discount of 25% on bar purchases

  • Goring and Streatley Golf Club holds regular functions where non members are very welcome. Pleae try us for Sunday Lunch, or just drop in to sample one of our real ales! Our website has details of all of our social events.
